STS Aviation Services in Ireland is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Production Managers in Teruel, Spain.

Position Summary

An in-depth Managerial production-based role, that will be both challenging and rewarding. You will head up the Production facility from GCAA Part 145 perspective, ensuring the smooth running of all maintenance – both scheduled and unscheduled.

• Manage the Production Planning deliverables.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of scheduling management systems.

• Proactively communicate any divergence from the plan to the Operations Manager.

• Analyze the critical path and working constraints to determine the effect of changes to schedule and recommend alternative scenarios.

• Develop and update weekly short interval schedule in consultation with customer Operation Manager, Customer, and planning team.

• Ensuring that the STS procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out Base maintenance.

• Support the Planning Team to assist with the day-to-day sequencing of Aircraft work.

• The availability of sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect, and certify the work being performed in ORS facility.

• The availability of a Production working environment appropriate to the tasks being undertaken.

• The availability of tools, equipment, and materials to perform the planned tasks.

• Ensuring the competence of all personnel engaged in Production.

• In addition to the above Duties and Responsibilities, the Production Managers also have the following STS

• Notifying the Operations Manager whenever available man-hours for Production reduce below 75% over a period of 1 calendar month.

• Responsible for ensuring all H&S are complied with in Production.
  
  

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the EASA Part 145 Production requirements

• Completed an engineering apprenticeship- ideally in Aeronautical engineering.

• Minimum of 20 years aircraft experience

• Previous aircraft production structures supervisory experience

• Previous structures modification supervisory experience

• Experienced in working in a customer controlled environment

• Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
